About Kinoulton Village Hall
The original Village Hall was a wooden structure built on land purchased in 1959, and extended several times to take account of the growing population of the village. Building of the current Village Hall – a Millenium project – began in December 1999 and was open for use on 24th June 2000. It is designed to provide facilities for as many different types and sizes of events as possible, with a maximum occupancy of 200 people. We can offer:
- Large Main Hall (21m x 11.9m)
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Comfortable meeting room
- Bar
- Atrium
- Outside patio area with lawn
- Accessible generous private car park
- Modular stage
- Free Wi-Fi
The Main Hall
The Main Hall is the major function room, with a wooden beamed ceiling and wood block floor. It is an excellent room for large meetings, lectures, dances, weddings, anniversaries and parties, for either adults or children.
Portable stage units are available, and they can be erected to suit the requirements of the event.
Without a stage the room can seat approximately 120 people for dining, and 140 theatre style. With the full stage it is still possible to cater for over 80 people, or seat 100 theatre style.
Atrium
This is the central area of the hall, which can be used as a bar area but also to serve food directly from the kitchen via the large service hatch. It links the Main Hall, the John Bugby meeting room, the kitchen, the bar, and the outside patio area.
Bar
The bar has optics, a drinks chiller, a wash-hand basin, a sink, and a range of beer and wine glasses.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped, including a cooker with gas hob, microwave, two undercounter fridges, a dishwasher and a separate hot water boiler. There is crockery and cutlery to cater for 120 people.
John Bugby Meeting Room
The meeting room can seat a maximum of 30 people. If the 4 tables are configured in a rectangular “boardroom” style there is room for 16 people around the table.
