Faster Broadband for Nottinghamshire Businesses
Do you currently require faster broadband speeds to enable you to carry out your business?
Will you require faster broadband speeds to ensure you can keep abreast of developing technologies, competitors and methods of doing business?
If yes, please help us to gather information about the need for faster broadband in Nottinghamshire.
The Government has confirmed that they will be allocating £4.25m towards Nottinghamshire County Council's £17m plan to ensure Nottinghamshire's businesses and residents have access to asuperfast broadband service.
The County Council is leading on the project and is providing £2.15m toward the scheme which is set to improve broadbandaccess for around 116,011 properties in the county. For more information about the project visit Nottinghamshire County Council.
We also now have a Facebook page so please stop by, 'like' the page and leave your comments.
The plan focuses on improvements for properties which will be unaffected by BT's superfast broadband roll-out plans and will ensure these areas are not left behind. Improvement works are due to start in early 2013.
We are currently applying for additional funding and need to evidence the demand for faster broadband for local businesses, particularly those in rural areas.
Please help us to bring superfast broadband to all of Nottinghamshire by completing a short survey.
