Pub Quiz evenings a roaring success
Pub quizzes are being held every other Sunday evening from 7.30 in the lounge at The Nevile Arms and are proving very popular, so arrive early to make sure you can get a table. Next quiz is on November 16th and every other Sunday thereafter.
Revamped and revitalised Nevile Arms
For anyone who hasn't been into the Nevile Arms since it was taken over by Ivan and Tracy Green in August, it's worth a visit if only to be amazed at the transformation of the lounge. Gone are the banquettes of old and behold the new luxurious leather sofas and dining chairs. The food is now all home-made with daily specials and the desserts include After Eight cheesecake and bread and butter pudding, so put your diet on hold and tuck in!

New footpath along Owthorpe Lane to Vimy Ridge announced!
We were delighted to hear from Coun. John Cottee at the Annual Parish Meeting held on April 29th that we will soon have a footpath along the busy 60mph road out of Kinoulton to the bottom of Vimy Ridge. This will make this popular walk much safer for everyone. We don't have any timings as yet to speak of, but updates will feature here as and when they are received.
Need some help getting to the shops?
Anne Earl (81587) and Rachael Henson (81453) are willing volunteers should you or anyone you know in the village need a lift to the doctor's suregery, a prescription or shopping collecting for example.
