"For me, the greatest satisfaction from my involvement in the PC comes from being able to get things done."
Anne was born in Kinoulton in 1948, and has spent the rest of her life here since as she loves the community spirit in the village. She was keen to give something back to her local community and that prompted her to get involved with the PC in 2003.
In the next twelved months, Anne is keen to see the Poplar Saplings which were recently planted along Vimy Ridge growing into healthy, impressive trees, just like their predecessors.
Anne is a busy lady splitting her time between her studies as a Research Historian and working as a carer and a cleaner. In what spare time Anne has left, she enjoys clog dancing, gardening & DIY, painting and walking. Her favourite book is "A Brief History of Thyme" by Miranda Seymour although she also enjoys the humour of Morecambe and Wise.
